Sisyphus at Work (Arthouse feature film)

For the poetic arthouse feature film Sisyphus at Work, directed by acclaimed Dutch filmmaker Ramon Gieling, Drone Department delivered contemplative and mesmerizing aerial cinematography. The film explores the creative labor and philosophy behind the monumental sculptures of artist Henk Visch.

Using cinema drone platforms, we captured slow, geometric top-down perspectives and sweeping orbital arcs around monumental bronze sculptures and industrial studio spaces. The drone serves as an observant artistic eye framing the dialogue between physical strain and spiritual creation.

Our pilots' delicate flight control harmonized perfectly with the poetic visual aesthetics established by director Ramon Gieling and cinematographer Goert Giltay.
