Murky Skies (Investigative Documentary Series)

For the three-part international investigative documentary series Murky Skies, directed by Noam Pinchas and chronicling the 1992 El Al Flight 1862 crash into the Bijlmermeer apartment complexes in Amsterdam, Drone Department provided reconstructive and investigative aerial cinematography.

Using cinema drones with low-light full-frame sensors, we mapped the precise flight trajectory and impact zone above the rebuilt residential blocks at dusk and night, conveying the tragic scale and urban context of the disaster.
