Amsterdam-based singer Morpheus brings the 'chanson' back to life – but in a contemporary form

Morpheus, a singer-songwriter from Amsterdam, made all drone recordings for his latest music video with the help of Drone Department. Special micro-drones with LED lighting were used, resulting in a breathtaking visual experience.

From grief to inspiration

After the unexpected death of his mother, Morpheus decided to turn this impactful experience into strength and wisdom. The loss of his mother made him realize how important it is to celebrate life and create a magical world in which one can escape, especially in dark times. His music is inspired by the chansons of Charles Aznavour and the imaginative lyrics of Kate Bush.

A visual masterpiece

The collaboration with Drone Department has added a unique visual dimension to Morpheus's music video. The recordings with the specially designed micro-drones, equipped with LED lighting, have created an enchanting aesthetic. The images take the viewer on a hypnotic journey through the music and impressively convey the message of the song.
