Franchise Freedom is a globally celebrated performative art installation created by Studio Drift (in partnership with Drone Stories), mimicking the mesmerizing murmuration flight patterns of starlings using hundreds of illuminated drones. Drone Department delivered high-end cinematic aerial recordings of this poetic dialogue between technology, nature, and humanity across international heritage locations.
Employing high-dynamic-range cinema drones, we captured the intricate, decentralized algorithms of the glowing swarm against midnight skies. The footage illustrates how technological precision transforms into profound artistic wonder.
